National Lead – Contract Administration & Independent Certification

About the role

AECOM is seeking a senior leader to serve as National Lead for Contract Administration and Independent Certification, based in Sydney or Brisbane. The role drives sector strategy, client engagement and delivery excellence across major civil infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of sector‑specific strategies and drive profitable growth through effective client engagement.
• Oversee recruitment, development and succession planning for the team, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.
• Implement digital and AI initiatives, uphold project governance and delegation of authority requirements.
• Participate in technical and project management activities such as risk reviews and governance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in major civil infrastructure projects, with a strong background in civil design and construction delivery.
• Proven capability leading multi‑disciplinary technical teams and delivering independent certification or assurance.
• Demonstrated experience in client engagement, work winning and market positioning.
