- Build and maintain relationships with researchers, clinicians, medical physicists, clinical trial cooperative groups, sponsors, CROs, research organisations and industry partners.
- Coordinate and oversee multicentre clinical research projects, including trial start-up, ethics and governance, site activation, contracting and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive improvements in data management, central data review, imaging quality processes, image repositories, education initiatives and network-wide clinical trial capability.
Required profile
- A postgraduate qualification in health, science, clinical research or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
- Significant experience leading or coordinating clinical trial operations, programs or multicentre research in a health, research or academic setting.
- Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), human research ethics, governance and Australian clinical trial regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to work with researchers, clinicians, sponsors, CROs and other stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational, project management and communication skills, able to work autonomously in a distributed national network.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the appointment; employer-sponsored work rights are not available.
Highly regarded: experience in a CRO, sponsor, clinical trial network or coordinating centre, and knowledge of Australian regulatory pathways (CTN/CTA) and trial start-up processes.
What we offer
- Base salary in the range $120,317 - $134,892 plus 17% superannuation (HEW Level 8).
- Flexible and hybrid working, and a 0.5 FTE appointment.
- Up to 26 weeks paid parental and primary care leave, 17.5% leave loading, health and wellbeing programs, a discounted study program and salary packaging.
Applications close 28 October 2026; interviews are tentatively scheduled for 9 November 2026. Candidates should submit a resume and cover letter through the university's Talent Acquisition team, citing the job reference number in the subject line.
