National Account Manager

About the role

This senior commercial position is responsible for managing the company’s relationships with major retail partners across pharmacy, grocery and mass‑market channels in Australia. You will own the end‑to‑end process of ranging, launches and promotional planning, delivering measurable commercial outcomes for a growing portfolio of beauty brands.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day relationships with key retailers such as Priceline, Atomica, Kmart, Target, Big W and Amazon.
• Manage ranging submissions, portal updates, replenishment cycles and promotional calendars.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure brand standards and uncover on‑ground opportunities.
• Lead new brand and product launches from initial discussion through to shelf placement.
• Provide weekly sales summaries to senior leadership with insights, risks and recommended actions.
• Identify gaps in assortment, promotional windows and growth opportunities across the portfolio.
• Directly manage and develop a Sales & Marketing Assistant.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in account management, wholesale or retail partnerships, preferably within beauty, pharmacy or FMCG.
• Experience working with mass‑market accounts (Kmart, Target, Big W) and specialty retailers (Priceline, Chemist Warehouse) is a plus.
• Proven track record of launching new products across multiple retail partners simultaneously.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable plans.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills, focused on genuine partnership development.
