Multi‑Skilled & Excavator Operators – 7/7 Roster (DIDO)

About the role

Programmed Energy & Resources is hiring experienced Multi‑Skilled Operators and specialised Excavator Operators for a major open‑cut coal mine in the Blackwater region. The positions are DIDO (drive‑in‑drive‑out) with a 7 days on / 7 days off rotating roster covering day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks (mechanical or electric) and at least one additional piece of mobile mining equipment such as dozers, graders, loaders or excavators.
• For excavator specialists, operate up to 600 tonne excavators in a large‑scale open‑cut coal environment.

Required profile

• Current Standard 11 Mine Induction (Surface) and Queensland Coal Board medical clearance.
• Valid Queensland driver’s licence and signed competency transcripts for relevant machines.
• Strong commitment to safety, ability to work effectively within a production team and on a rotating 7/7 roster.

Required skills

• Mechanical or electric haul‑truck operation.
• Operation of dozer, grader, loader and excavator equipment.
• Experience with 600 tonne excavators in open‑cut coal mining.
