Multipurpose Driller (DD/RC) - FIFO

About the role

DDH1 Drilling, part of Perenti Group Services, is recruiting experienced Multipurpose Drillers for a FIFO role across remote exploration and mine-site locations in Australia. The roster is 4:2 (4 weeks on, 2 weeks off) or 2:1 (2 weeks on, 1 week off), and the position suits someone comfortable behind the panel of a multipurpose rig.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the drill rig to OEM and DDH1 standards within a highly regulated safety system
• Ensure duty of care is applied in all work activities and for all personnel under control
• Maintain compliance with HSE and site regulations
• Inspect and maintain equipment, and oversee sampling procedures so core is marked correctly
• Train and mentor offsiders and trainee drillers in safety and rig operations
• Execute client drilling programs accurately and safely, and maintain professional teamwork on site

Required profile

• Solid experience operating multipurpose rigs (DD and/or RC); DE880, UDR650, Evolution FH3000 or equivalent rigs preferred
• HR licence (or above)
• Current HLTAID011 First Aid certificate
• National police clearance
• Flexibility to work both 4:2 and 2:1 rosters
• Cert III in Drilling Operations completed or in progress preferred
• Strong safety awareness and leadership skills
