Multi-Skilled Operator – Rehab Project (7/7 Day Shifts)

About the role

A leading global client, Australia's largest producer of coal, cobalt, zinc, nickel and copper, is recruiting Multi-Skilled Operators for a rehab project on a mine site near Glenden, about 160 km from Mackay. The roster is 7 days on, 7 days off, with 12.5-hour shifts running Wednesday to Tuesday. The position is casual, paid $66.99 per hour plus super on all rostered hours, and open to both DIDO and residential candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a range of heavy machinery on the rehab project, including CAT 745 water truck, CAT 637K scraper, CAT 745 articulated haul truck, CAT 980/992 wheel loaders, CAT D8T-D11T dozers, rigid haul trucks, graders and excavators from 20T to 350T.
• Work 12.5-hour shifts on a Wednesday to Tuesday 7/7-day roster.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating at least three of the listed machines on mining or civil projects.
• SSE signed skills list or RII operating tickets.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board medical within the last two years, or willingness to obtain one.
• Current driver's licence and right to work in Australia.
