Multi-Property IT Specialist (12 Months Contract)

About the role

Marriott International is hiring a Multi-Property IT Specialist for a 12-month contract, reporting to the Multi-Property IT Manager. You will support technology operations across three Gold Coast properties: JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, AC Hotel by Marriott Gold Coast and Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast. The role covers hands-on maintenance and support of IT systems, networks, hardware, software and infrastructure, working closely with associates and leaders at each property.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for IT systems, networks, servers, hardware and software
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, applications, networks and telecommunications
• Manage user accounts, system access and IT security controls
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade IT equipment and infrastructure
• Deliver end-user training and support
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve complex issues and implement solutions
• Maintain IT asset inventory, system documentation and backup procedures
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance IT operations and guest service

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT support, systems administration or hospitality technology
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple properties and stakeholders
• Experience working with vendors, service providers and technology projects
• Valid driver's licence and flexibility to travel between properties

Required skills

• Computer hardware, software, networks and Microsoft environments
• End-user support and troubleshooting
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
