Mobility Technical Support

About the role

Randstad is recruiting a Mobility Technical Support contractor for a NSW public sector organisation that supports critical mobile technology deployments across a large operational user base. Working within the mobility support team, you will be the main point of contact for mobile fleet operations across smartphones, tablets and carrier services, handling device enrolments, factory resets, configuration and troubleshooting so that operational staff stay connected in high-pressure situations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day mobile device requests, configuration and hardware triage
• Perform bulk deployments, enrolments and factory resets across smartphones and tablets
• Coordinate SIM card allocations, carrier activations and service changes with external telco providers
• Log and resolve incidents and service requests in the enterprise ticketing system
• Create process documentation, user guides and technical support materials

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• Proven hands-on technical support experience across mobile devices, tablets and mobile operating systems
• Demonstrated background in device provisioning, Google account setup and carrier SIM activations
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency, with the ability to obtain a National Police Check and baseline security clearance
