Mobile Plant Supervisor

About the role

Boral is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Supervisor to lead the deployment and management of mobile and onsite concrete batching plants across major infrastructure projects in Queensland and beyond. This hands‑on leadership position involves coordinating contractors, overseeing plant mobilisation, and ensuring safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mobile and onsite concrete plant solutions safely, on time and within budget.
• Design and implement plant solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate and manage external contractors throughout project delivery.
• Commission new mobile concrete plants and train operational staff.
• Oversee plant maintenance and ensure compliance with operational requirements.
• Drive a strong safety culture and support Boral's Zero Harm commitment.
• Monitor performance against budgets, KPIs and project objectives.
• Work closely with operational teams to exceed customer expectations.

Required profile

• Experience managing contractors in construction, industrial or heavy‑industry environments.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Previous experience operating, mobilising or managing mobile concrete batching plants.
• Strong understanding of concrete batching operations and plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of crane operations and transport requirements.
• Problem‑solving skills with a practical, solutions‑focused approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid tickets for Working at Heights, Forklift, EWP or other relevant plant and equipment.
