Mix Plant Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role involves operating an automated batching and recipe management system to produce consistent, high‑quality plant and dairy‑based products in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and pre‑weigh ingredients according to production requirements.
• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot automated batching equipment.
• Follow site recipes accurately with no deviations.
• Support production changeovers, equipment setup and shutdown activities.
• Monitor production performance, waste and downtime throughout the shift.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and process improvement initiatives.
• Operate forklifts and manually handle materials as required.
• Collaborate with other production areas when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
• Experience operating automated machinery or batching systems (highly regarded).
• Forklift licence (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
