Middle School Mathematics and Science Teacher

About the role

Camberwell Grammar School is seeking an experienced Mathematics and Science teacher for Years 6‑8. The role starts at the beginning of Term 1 2027 and is full‑time permanent, within a supportive, well‑resourced middle‑school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Science curricula for Years 6‑8, using evidence‑based pedagogy.
• Collaborate with a team of educators to maintain high academic standards and support student achievement.
• Participate in co‑curricular duties, including Year Level Camps, Friday Activities, and the AGSV Sports Program.
• Provide pastoral care and contribute to the broader development of students.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualifications in Mathematics and Science.
• Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve strong academic outcomes for middle‑school students.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Ability to design and deliver purposeful Mathematics and Science learning experiences.
• Certification in anaphylaxis training.
