Merchandising Manager ANZ

About the role

ETISK is recruiting a Merchandising Manager for an international fashion accessories business with a portfolio of owned and licensed brands. The role translates global collections into locally relevant assortments and coordinated seasonal launches across Australia and New Zealand. It is based at the business's head office on Sydney's Northern Beaches, reports directly to the Country Manager and manages two direct reports in visual merchandising and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Own ANZ channel assortments and manage seasonal new-product buys, using sales performance, market trends and competitor insights.
• Build brand and category plans, coordinating product offerings, pricing, promotions, forecasting and inventory.
• Lead the local go-to-market calendar and align sales, marketing, visual merchandising and inventory teams before each launch.
• Adapt global product presentations and assortment tools to the ANZ market, and review seasonal results with regional and global stakeholders.
• Coordinate promotional calendars, distribution updates and approvals for new retail distribution points.
• Coach and develop the Senior Visual Merchandiser and Inventory Controller.

Required profile

• More than three years' relevant experience in merchandising, inventory management and/or planning.
• Significant wholesale experience, including understanding of different channel and customer requirements.
• A degree in Business, Merchandising, Economics or a related discipline.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders and deadlines, ideally within a business with regional or global teams.
• Ability to lead and develop direct reports while staying involved in day-to-day work.

Required skills

• Confidence with assortments, sales data, forecasts and seasonal product plans.
• SAP or Navision experience is an advantage.
