Merchandise Manager - Performance

About the role

The Merchandise Manager – Performance will own the end‑to‑end strategy for the Performance Footwear category across B2B and D2C channels in ANZ, translating the brand’s vision into market‑ready assortments that drive growth and premium positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement long‑term category strategy by sub‑sport and channel, aligned with global direction and local market needs.
• Lead seasonal planning including financial planning, range selection, pricing, volume forecasting and lifecycle management.
• Own GTM processes, ensuring assortments are optimized for profitability, relevance and channel differentiation.
• Translate consumer, competitor and marketplace insights into actionable category strategies.
• Develop reporting dashboards to monitor assortment efficiency, sell‑through and profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in category merchandising/management within performance footwear or broader sporting goods.
• Strong commercial and financial planning capabilities in an omni‑channel environment.
• Deep knowledge of ANZ market, consumer and competitor insights in sporting goods.
