Menswear Sales Consultant - Custom Suiting

About the role

A growing custom-suiting house behind a beautifully presented showroom in Williamstown, Melbourne, is looking for a polished, charismatic Custom Suiting Consultant. The work is bespoke menswear: understanding each client's style and designing a suit made to measure, rather than selling off-the-rack goods. The head office provides leads and books most appointments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead one-to-one custom-suiting consultations, guiding clients through fabrics and design choices
• Act as a trusted style adviser to groomsmen, wedding parties and business clients, from first conversation through measurements to the final fitting
• Manage orders, emails and follow-ups to deliver a seamless client experience
• Keep the showroom immaculate, including steaming garments and presenting new stock

Required profile

• Confident, warm and magnetic, enjoying getting to know people rather than closing a quick sale
• Passionate about fashion, impeccably presented and at home with premium products and service
• Experience in menswear is an advantage, though the employer will teach the custom-suiting craft
• Dependable, a team player and looking to build a long-term career
• Driver's licence and access to a vehicle for occasional short trips to the nearby workshop

What we offer

• Base salary of $65,000 to $68,000 plus superannuation
• Uncapped commission structure
• Tuesday to Saturday roster, with Sunday and Monday off
• Closed on public holidays, with a Christmas to New Year break
