About the role

A 308-bed general hospital in Northern Tasmania, located on the Tamar River and serving the city and surrounding district, is seeking a Medical Registrar for General Medicine. The placement runs from 28 December 2026 to 31 January 2027, covering day, night and on-call shifts, with partial dates considered.

Key responsibilities

Provide General Medicine coverage at the hospital during the stated period.
Work day, night (20:00-08:30) and on-call shifts.
Share after-hours and weekend duties with the team.

Required profile

Registered with AHPRA.
Right to work in Australia.

What we offer

Pay of $140-$150 per hour; $150 per hour for night shifts (20:00-08:30).
$140 daily flat rate for on-call.
