Medical Imaging Revenue & Administration Manager

About the role

St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne is seeking a permanent, full-time Revenue and Administration Manager to oversee the administrative functions of Medical Imaging services across its public and private operations. The role works closely with key craft groups and stakeholders to build an agile, high-performing team and manages all office and administrative services. It is pivotal to the success of Medical Imaging, influencing patient experience and billing practices that maximise revenue.

• Contribute to billing practices that maximise revenue streams across the Imaging service

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Health, Business or Public Administration, Health Services Management or a closely related discipline, or equivalent senior healthcare administration experience
• Strong knowledge of billing practices applicable to Medical Imaging
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to implement initiatives that achieve common goals

Required skills

• Revenue cycle management
• Billing and compliance leadership in a complex healthcare environment
• Expertise in Medicare and private health fund requirements

The Medical Imaging Department provides diagnostic and procedural imaging services (CT, ultrasound, angiography, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy and general x-ray) to inpatients and outpatients across several Fitzroy campus locations.
