Media Sales Consultant - Regional

About the role

Seven West Media is looking for a motivated Media Sales Consultant to join its Karratha team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering a period of parental leave. The role suits candidates seeking either full-time or part-time employment and centres on helping Pilbara businesses connect with their communities through advertising solutions across well-known media brands. It combines sales, business development and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow revenue through existing clients and new business acquisition.
• Understand clients' objectives and identify advertising solutions that support their business goals.
• Prepare and present high-quality sales proposals and advertising campaigns.
• Manage client campaigns and provide ongoing support to ensure successful outcomes.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to maximise campaign performance.
• Monitor and manage business and revenue risks as they arise.

Required profile

• Ideally experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment.
• A passion for helping businesses achieve their goals through effective advertising solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence outcomes.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• A proactive, results-driven approach, with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Valid Australian work rights.

Required skills

• Sound computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
