Mechanical Maintainer – Chandala Processing Plant

About the role

Join Tronox at the Chandala Processing Facility in Muchea as a Mechanical Maintainer. You will work on‑site, supporting a range of mechanical plant and equipment, and enjoy a regular home‑after‑shift schedule without FIFO rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical plant, pumps and related equipment to ensure reliability.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and document all work in Tronox’s Maintenance Systems.
• Identify, report and help prevent mechanical failures.
• Assist operators with equipment preparation, isolation and safe start‑up.
• Record process information and suggest improvements.
• Promote a positive safety culture by spotting and reporting hazards.

Required profile

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (essential).
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Mechanical Maintainer, preferably in process plants.
