Mechanical Fitter – Hydraulic Power Units and Systems

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our production team at Bosch Rexroth’s Kings Park facility. The role involves hands‑on assembly of hydraulic power units and systems, working from engineering drawings, schematics and technical specifications. The position will relocate to our new Marsden Park plant in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble complete hydraulic power units and systems according to engineering documentation.
• Perform light welding, tube bending and other mechanical fabrication tasks required for each build.
• Operate lathes and milling machines to modify and finish components.
• Organise workload across multiple jobs, ensuring builds meet production and customer deadlines.
• Maintain high quality standards, keep workshop tools and equipment in good condition.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Electrical teams to deliver safe, on‑time results.

Required profile

• Minimum three years post‑trade experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter‑Machinist, Fabricator or similar.
• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent mechanical trade qualification.
• Proven experience assembling hydraulic power units from fabrication to final assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings and technical specifications.
