Mechanical Engineer – Design & Support (2 positions)

About the role

Korvest Ltd is expanding its engineering team at the Kilburn head office. The role offers the chance to design engineered products, support large‑scale infrastructure projects and influence product development for a nationally recognised brand.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new engineered product solutions.
• Conduct engineering assessments for cold‑ and fire‑rated support systems.
• Provide engineering support for large cable‑ladder installations, including tunnels and major infrastructure projects.
• Investigate and resolve mechanical issues during design and product implementation phases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and product design.
• Liaise directly with clients, contractors and external engineering consultants.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing, industrial, design or product engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, manufacturing and project teams.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and exposure to automation or manufacturing processes.
