About the role
We are looking for experienced MC drivers to operate B‑double combinations on the Melbourne‑Nhill changeover route, departing Hoppers Crossing each evening. The position offers stable, full‑time work with modern equipment and a focus on safety.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure fitness for duty.
- Operate the B‑double combination on the scheduled route, typically without loading or unloading.
- Apply load restraint according to the National Load Restraint Guidelines when required.
- Refuel the vehicle and maintain cleanliness of the allocated equipment.
- Report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays promptly.
Required profile
- Current MC licence.
- Minimum 2 years of MC line‑haul experience.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and punctual.
- Clear communicator with a strong safety commitment.
- Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation (BFM).
