Mathematics Teacher – Senior School (Full‑time)

About the role

Canberra Grammar School is seeking an engaging Mathematics Teacher for its Senior School starting in 2027. The full‑time, ongoing position offers the chance to make mathematics meaningful for students across a range of abilities and senior pathways, while working within an experienced, collaborative and forward‑thinking team. Teaching extends beyond the classroom through pastoral care, co‑curricular involvement and community life.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver senior‑level mathematics curriculum, including IB Diploma, HSC and Middle Years pathways.
• Provide pastoral care through the Student House system and contribute to co‑curricular and community activities.
• Participate in out‑of‑hours duties, enrichment programmes and school events as required.
• Use assessment data and feedback to advance student learning and support diverse learning needs.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise teaching senior mathematics and ability to engage students of varied abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive practice, data‑driven assessment, feedback and student wellbeing.
• Strong written and spoken English, interpersonal skills and confidence using educational technology.
• Passion for mathematics and a desire to inspire confidence and curiosity in learners.
