Materials Technical Assistant – Logistics & Warehouse

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Materials Technical Assistant to support warehousing, logistics and materials activities for the Alkimos Sea Water Alliance project in Perth. You will ensure safe handling, storage and issuance of materials while maintaining strict compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage off‑loading, storage and issuing of materials and equipment on site.
• Operate the materials control system to track receipt, movement and issue of all items.
• Report overages, shortages, non‑conforming or damaged materials and coordinate returns.
• Liaise with project personnel to schedule safe and timely deliveries.
• Conduct regular audits of indoor and outdoor storage facilities to ensure proper custody.
• Travel to associated sites as required to maintain links with client facilities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to ACCIONA’s values and operational safety standards.
• Ability to safely operate loading/unloading plant and warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail for identifying discrepancies and reporting them.
• Flexibility to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project needs.
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
