Materials Coordinator – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Materials Coordinator on a 6‑month contract to implement and manage site materials systems for a large water infrastructure project. The role involves ordering, tracking, receiving, storing and issuing materials while ensuring safety and compliance with OEM requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement site materials management systems and procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling and delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
• Manage safe off‑loading, receipt and storage of materials in line with OEM standards.
• Develop work packs, handle OS&D reporting and oversee warehousing activities.
• Collaborate with construction teams to review material availability and issue to work fronts.
• Plan and forecast plant and equipment requirements, including mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Work with cost control on plant and equipment forecast accounts.

Required profile

• More than 5 years of warehousing, laydown and materials management experience.
• Experience on multi‑discipline, complex construction projects.
• Proven ability to set up and operate site material storage yards and warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards for material off‑loading and storage.
