Master - Expedition Cruise Ship

About the role

Coral Expeditions, part of the NRMA Group, is recruiting a Master for its small expedition ships. The Master is a key on-board management position responsible for guest satisfaction by managing all crew and all areas of cruise operation, directly or through ship-based Heads of Department. The role suits a motivated person seeking a change and a new challenge within a well-established nationwide marine team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Leadership and management skills, with a desire to coach and develop others
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Demonstrated safe working practices mindset
• Passenger ship experience preferred
• Rosters of up to 6 weeks for domestic voyages and up to 8 weeks for international voyages
