Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator will support the Sheraton Port Douglas team by coordinating marketing activations and managing communication channels. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will help shape campaigns that engage guests and promote the hotel’s brand.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing activations and communication across multiple channels.
• Assist the Marketing Manager in creating and executing social‑media, promotional event, and marketing‑material campaigns.
• Maintain and develop relationships with media contacts, social‑media influencers, and customers.
• Prepare monthly performance reports using marketing analysis tools, ensuring attention to detail.
• Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty.
• Liaise with associates and other departments to deliver service excellence.
• Perform marketing administration duties and provide general team support.
• Create and manage purchase requests for the Marketing and Sales department.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar marketing coordination role.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Enthusiastic about career progression.
• Self‑motivated, driven and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solution‑oriented with a can‑do attitude.
