Manufacturing Team Member

About the role

Pantex Roofing Systems, a long‑established manufacturer of metal roofing products in South‑East Queensland, is looking for a Manufacturing Team Member to join its new afternoon shift. This hands‑on position involves working on the production line in a safe, well‑run plant, offering stability and the chance to learn new skills.

Key responsibilities

• Hands‑on manufacturing of steel roofing products using a range of equipment and machinery.
• Operate machinery and equipment in line with standard operating procedures.
• Support the production team to meet fast turn‑around customer orders.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics and customer service to ensure smooth production coordination.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Positive “can‑do” attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and urgency.
• Physically fit – able to stand, lift, bend and move throughout the day.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence working with numbers.
• Current driver’s licence, reliable transport and Australian permanent residency.

Required skills

• Gantry crane operation (preferred).
• Sheet‑metal fabrication experience (desirable).
• Operation of manufacturing machinery.
