Manufacturing Plant Maintenance SME - SAP

About the role

The Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide functional expertise and business process knowledge for the ANZ SAP S/4 implementation at Kraft Heinz. Working closely with the Stream Lead, project team and business stakeholders, the SME will support end‑to‑end process and system design, documentation and validation of business requirements, and contribute to testing and adoption throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Manufacturing Plant Maintenance domain expertise across design, build and deployment phases.
• Document and validate current‑state processes, business requirements and pain points.
• Support future‑state process and solution design aligned to SAP S/4 and business needs.
• Participate in workshops and design discussions, reviewing and validating proposed changes.
• Assist with issue and risk management, including escalation when required.
• Contribute to testing activities such as scenario input, execution support, defect triage and outcome validation.
• Support change and readiness activities, including process documentation, training inputs and communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in process improvement, project or transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to document requirements and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Comfortable working in a changing environment with competing priorities.
• Willingness to travel on a routine basis.

Required skills

• SAP (preferably SAP S/4 implementation experience).
• Strong functional knowledge of Manufacturing Plant Maintenance.
• Effective communication and collaboration in a matrix environment.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to manage priorities and timelines.
