Manufacturing Operations SME – SAP

About the role

The Manufacturing Operations AU Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides functional expertise and business process knowledge for the ANZ SAP S/4 implementation, supporting end‑to‑end design, testing and adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Manufacturing Operations domain SME input across design, build and deployment.
• Document and validate current‑state processes, business requirements and pain points.
• Support future‑state process and solution design aligned to SAP S/4.
• Participate in workshops, review and validate proposed process/system changes.
• Assist with issue and risk management, testing, defect triage and outcome validation.
• Support change and readiness activities, including documentation, training inputs and communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in process improvement, project or system‑related initiatives.
• Ability to document requirements and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Comfortable working in a changing environment with competing priorities.
• Strong Manufacturing Operations functional knowledge and effective communication in a matrix environment.

Required skills

• SAP/ERP implementation experience (advantageous).
• Strong problem‑solving and prioritisation skills.
