Manufacturing Operator - Mixing Equipment

About the role

Mondelēz International is looking for a Manufacturing Operator in Melbourne to support mixing operations across two lines and equipment. The role offers variety and the chance to develop skills across several mixing processes in a food manufacturing environment. It is an afternoon shift position.

Key responsibilities

• Independently operate and maintain mixing equipment, ensuring precise ingredient measurement, accurate recipe adherence and consistent batch quality.
• Run standard work processes using AM and PM methodologies for mixing equipment, including batching mixes, following plans to deliver CTS objectives, routine cleaning, inspections and basic troubleshooting of mixing machinery.
• Take part in root-cause analysis, stop reduction and loss elimination initiatives for mixing processes.
• Support quality assurance and safety compliance so that all mixed products meet specifications and safety standards.
• Work flexibly across SC1/SC2 roles and, where needed, support other areas of production.

Required profile

• Experience operating mixing machinery or similar process equipment in a food or manufacturing environment.
• Previous food manufacturing experience, especially with mixing or ingredient handling/batching, is highly regarded.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail for recipe adherence and ability to learn multiple mixing processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
• A strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement in food manufacturing.
