Managing Consultant, Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard Services is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead business development initiatives across its professional services portfolio. The role focuses on building industry networks, understanding client needs, and delivering end‑to‑end solutions that leverage Mastercard’s data, platforms, and expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencers, sponsors and decision‑makers.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of client requirements to identify critical business challenges.
• Manage the full sales cycle from need identification through proposal writing, contract development and execution.
• Create persuasive sales‑support materials such as presentations and business cases.
• Lead post‑implementation reviews and identify follow‑on opportunities.
• Contribute to project delivery using core consultancy skills, including project management and subject‑matter expertise.
• Produce intellectual capital such as white papers and industry insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consulting or business development within financial services or related sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex sales processes and deliver high‑quality proposals.
