Managing Consultant – Mining or Power & Renewables

About the role

NES Fircroft is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead contract recruitment for the Mining and Power & Renewables sectors. You will act as a strategic partner to clients, delivering talent solutions that support high‑profile projects across Australia and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their recruitment needs.
• Manage the full contract recruitment lifecycle – sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates.
• Provide market insights and trend analysis to clients and candidates.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the firm’s presence in the sector.
• Engage with high‑quality candidates, develop talent pools, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
• Mentor junior team members, supporting their professional growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract recruitment within an agency environment.
• Industry knowledge in Mining or Power & Energy Generation.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and grow client networks.
