Manager - Technology, Customer & Operations

About the role

The Manager – Technology, Customer & Operations will lead the implementation of IT solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs and support growth across operating business units. Acting as the technical lead, you will mentor colleagues, provide higher‑level technical input and deputise for area leadership when required.

Key responsibilities

• Work with business and operational teams to gather requirements and deliver appropriate IT solutions from design through go‑live.
• Coordinate with TCO specialists, global teams and extended Maersk colleagues for development or customisation.
• Produce functional requirements, project plans, system configurations and test plans as the lead SME.
• Configure supported applications and peripheral devices needed for operations.
• Conduct training for super‑users and project team members.
• Develop the TCO team’s skills and ensure smooth implementation of IT services and infrastructure.
• Manage service levels, KPIs, escalations and act as senior SME during major incidents.
• Support disaster recovery testing, system migrations and upgrades.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience implementing, managing and supporting warehouse management systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Infor SCE or Exceed WMS.
• Strong business knowledge of supply‑chain execution, distribution centre services and transport management.
• Proven track record delivering major IT projects, system updates, migrations and automation projects (AMR, ACR, ASRS, multishuttle).
• Project‑management certification (PMP, Prince‑2) is an advantage.
