Manager, Student Disability and Accessibility

About the role

Lead the delivery of specialist disability and accessibility services across Griffith University, driving excellence in service delivery and ensuring students with disability receive timely, consistent, student‑centred support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and continuously improve disability and accessibility services.
• Provide expert advice on disability inclusion, reasonable adjustments, governance and compliance.
• Build contemporary, efficient systems and processes to support consistent practice, workload management and quality reporting.
• Leverage data, technology and sector insights to streamline service delivery and enhance student outcomes.
• Collaborate with academic and professional staff to identify and remove barriers to participation and success.

Required profile

• Experienced, values‑led leader with strong understanding of disability support in higher education.
• Systems‑focused, improvement‑oriented approach with sound judgement.
• Ability to work at strategic and operational levels, advising senior stakeholders and ensuring compliance.
• Lived experience of disability is highly valued.

Required skills

• Knowledge of higher education disability support programs and reasonable adjustments.
• Experience with accessibility practice, governance and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills.

What we offer

• Full‑time continuing position based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast.
• Base salary HEW Level 9: $137,165 – $142,070 per annum plus 17% superannuation (total package $160,483 – $166,222).
