Manager, Sales Development

About the role

The Manager, Sales Development will grow and lead a team of sales development representatives to deliver qualified leads that support ANZ sales goals. This hybrid role is based in Sydney with remote flexibility and requires strategic thinking combined with urgent execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and manage a mix of experienced and new lead generation team members to exceed lead quotas.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to build outbound prospecting campaigns and align goals.
• Hire, onboard, and train new sales development representatives.
• Partner with field sales to ensure alignment on deliverables and expectations.
• Define and deploy best‑practice prospecting methodologies across the lead generation workflow.
• Engage hands‑on in day‑to‑day prospecting to demonstrate best practices.
• Monitor and report on lead quota and qualified pipeline attainment regularly.

Required profile

• 7+ years of technology‑related sales or business development experience.
• 7+ years of sales management experience selling enterprise solutions.
• Proven ability to lead a team focused on enterprise accounts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills with a positive, sales‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Experience in outbound prospecting and lead generation.
• Ability to analyze and segment target markets.
• Collaboration with product marketing and demand generation teams.
