Manager, Sales Development

About the role

The Manager, Sales Development will lead a team of sales development representatives to generate qualified leads that support ANZ sales goals. This hybrid position is based in Sydney with remote flexibility and requires collaboration with marketing and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and develop a mix of experienced and new lead generation team members to exceed lead quotas.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to build outbound prospecting campaigns and ensure alignment with field sales.
• Hire, onboard, and train new sales development representatives.
• Define and deploy best‑practice prospecting methodologies across the lead generation workflow.
• Engage in hands‑on prospecting activities to demonstrate best practices.
• Monitor and report on lead quota and qualified pipeline attainment regularly.

Required profile

• 7+ years of technology‑related sales or business development experience.
• 7+ years of sales management experience selling enterprise solutions.
• Proven ability to lead a team focused on enterprise accounts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills with a collaborative, results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Experience managing outbound prospecting campaigns.
• Ability to analyze and segment target markets.
• Familiarity with sales development tools and metrics reporting.
