Manager, Property and Fleet Services

About the role

Legal Aid Queensland is seeking a strategic leader to manage its property and fleet services. The Manager will oversee a small team, ensure operational excellence, and support staff across the organisation through effective asset and space management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of property and fleet operations, including capital works, refurbishments and maintenance planning.
• Provide strategic advice on property, fleet and insurance arrangements.
• Manage office space planning, physical security systems and property assets.
• Develop and maintain emergency management and fire safety plans statewide.
• Drive improvements to systems, processes, policies and procedures.
• Prepare briefing notes, reports and manage budgets, risk mitigation strategies and stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing property and fleet functions, including budget responsibility.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and building safety standards.
• Ability to develop policies and procedures and deliver projects on schedule.
• Strong leadership capability, including coaching, accountability, collaboration and leading through change.
