Manager, Operations Finance (Business Partnering)

About the role

Valmont is seeking a Manager, Operations Finance to act as a true Business Partner for its APAC operational and manufacturing leadership. This full‑time, location‑flexible role will provide timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis to drive performance and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver insights to the management team through analysis, modelling and recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Prepare and submit Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) requests, providing comprehensive financial analysis and justification.
• Build and maintain a capital management/monitoring program, including forecast updates, annual budgets and long‑term strategic inputs.
• Develop processes to improve working capital, notably inventory management.
• Perform financial performance reviews with management, focusing on operational activity, variances, working capital and CAPEX.
• Develop a reporting framework for consistent operational metrics across APAC.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and create counter‑measures and action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CA is highly regarded.
• Experience as an operations, commercial or financial analyst in manufacturing or operational environments.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to work across a matrix organisation.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the Asia‑Pacific region.
