Manager - Financial Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

EY is recruiting a Manager for its Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice, which advises Chief Finance Officers, their finance teams and wider business areas. The role combines commercial experience, sector and regulatory knowledge, and expertise in financial accounting and reporting to drive outcomes and give advice across a wide range of finance topics. It is based in Boorloo (Perth), Naarm (Melbourne) and Warrang (Sydney), and may be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Chief Finance Officers, their finance teams and wider business areas to create long-term value, trust and confidence within organisations.
• Provide advice across a wide range of finance function topics, combining commercial experience with deep sector and regulatory knowledge.

Required profile

• A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience and a CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• A degree in accounting or another appropriate academic major.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to execute under pressure.
• An understanding of how transactions such as business acquisitions and disposals work, and their operational impact on the business and finance function.
