Manager - ESG Assurance

About the role

KPMG's ESG Advisory & Assurance (Sustainability) team helps organisations manage the risks and opportunities of non-financial issues and improve reporting and communication, and provides assurance on non-financial disclosures, reports and regulatory filings. As a Manager in Melbourne, you will build trusted client relationships, project manage assurance engagements from start to finish and lead assurance projects using your technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Relationship builder with strong communication skills, able to engage diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Enjoys sharing Sustainability Assurance insights and tailoring communication for subject matter experts and clients
• Focused on project management and quality delivery, with big-picture thinking and accountability to see projects through
• Ability to set project details, performance baselines, milestones, work breakdown structures and resource plans

Required skills

• Experience with emissions assurance audits
• Knowledge of international sustainability frameworks, guidelines and standards
• Practical ability to apply International and/or Australian Auditing Standards (ISAE and ASAE)
• Strong assurance knowledge: planning, risk assessment, designing the assurance approach and procedures, testing and analysis, review and reporting
• Technical analysis of ESG processes and data measurement, including benchmarking organisational performance

Beneficial but not required: Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS), ISSB, GRI, SDGs, UNPRI, TCFD, GRESB, SASB, NGER, ERF and CDP.
