Manager, Customer Performance – Fraud & Compliance

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager to lead High‑Risk Acquirer Performance within its Asia Pacific Franchise function. The role focuses on preventing, detecting, and remediating fraud and compliance risks for specialty merchants such as cryptocurrency, gambling, and adult services.

Key responsibilities

• Design internal and external performance reports to highlight under‑performing areas.
• Engage directly with acquirers facing performance or rule‑violation issues.
• Sell and deliver consulting engagements, including training, performance‑optimization projects, and mandatory Franchise Management Program reviews.
• Collaborate with Franchise colleagues to expand merchant categories, ensure proper registrations, and optimise revenue streams.
• Identify emerging fraud trends and share insights with product teams, regulators, and industry bodies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fraud management within card‑payment ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of transaction processing, authentication, and authorisation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers and internal teams.
