Manager, Corporate Services

About the role

The Mental Health Review Tribunal is seeking a Manager, Corporate Services to lead its financial, human resources, records, assets, facilities, procurement and contract functions. Reporting to the Executive Team, you will provide strategic and operational advice to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Corporate Services team, applying best‑practice HR management.
• Produce accurate financial reports, cash‑flow forecasts and annual budget submissions.
• Research financial implications of new initiatives and report findings.
• Oversee workforce strategy, payroll, recruitment, training and industrial relations.
• Manage the Tribunal’s digital strategy, records and information management.
• Provide procurement and contract management advice.
• Prioritise resources—including people, assets and facilities—to align with organisational priorities.
• Monitor quality management systems, set performance targets and track KPIs for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in public‑sector management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to build relationships across government, industry and private stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking with a track record of delivering organisational outcomes.
