Manager Asset Standards and Governance

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Network Asset Management, the Manager Asset Standards and Governance will lead the transformation of asset governance, assurance and performance management across the Central Queensland Coal Network.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement modern governance frameworks, operating models and assurance practices to improve asset performance and risk management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes, enhance compliance and increase operational efficiency.
• Oversee compliance and assurance activities, ensuring the framework remains practical, scalable and fit for purpose.
• Partner with senior leaders to embed new ways of working and strengthen governance capability across the network.

Required profile

• Experienced transformation leader with a strategic mindset, able to influence senior stakeholders and deliver sustainable organisational change.
• Proven track record of leading complex governance, risk or asset‑management transformation programmes in large, asset‑intensive organisations.
• Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) or equivalent qualification.

Required skills

• Lean or Six Sigma awareness or experience.
• Experience working with or maintaining operating models.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk and asset‑management frameworks.
