Management Consultant (Senior Associate to Director) - Expression of Interest

About the role

Grant Thornton Australia is seeking expressions of interest from management consultants at Senior Associate, Manager, Senior Manager or Director level, based in Melbourne or Sydney. The consulting team partners with clients to solve complex business challenges and deliver measurable outcomes across strategy activation, change management, performance improvement, data and analytics, operating model and supply chain optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Senior Associate: independently manage workstreams, develop client-ready deliverables, engage with client stakeholders, contribute to proposal development and apply consulting methodologies to complex challenges.
• Manager: lead project teams and engagement delivery, coach and mentor consultants, build client relationships and lead proposal development.
• Senior Manager: lead large-scale transformation, strategy and performance improvement engagements, develop new client opportunities and build high-performing teams.
• Director: drive business development and revenue growth, lead complex engagements and transformation programs, and mentor consulting teams.

Required profile

• Experience in management consulting, professional services, internal advisory or consulting-style environments.
• Demonstrated experience in advisory, transformation, program delivery, operational improvement, change management and/or organisational development.
• Track record of managing senior stakeholders and leading diverse project teams.
• Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, economics or a related discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualifications advantageous.

• Strong commercial insight, including experience contributing to proposals or business development.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication.
• People leadership, including coaching and mentoring.
