Management Accountant – Finance & Cost Management

About the role

We are seeking a capable and energetic Management Accountant to join our high‑performing Queensland Concrete Finance Team. You will provide accurate financial insights, analysis and reporting to support strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Concrete leadership, sales, logistics and site operations to improve understanding and communication of results.
• Monitor and manage cost drivers, P&L, and inventory to ensure control of stock holdings.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis for the Monthly Business Review.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, dashboards and financial reports to drive performance improvement.
• Manage balance‑sheet items, working‑capital initiatives and capital reporting.
• Address audit queries and ensure compliance with risk‑management and year‑end reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Commercially focused finance professional with experience partnering with operational stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance or Economics; CA/CPA qualification or working towards it.
• Strong analytical ability to extract meaningful insights from performance data.
• Experience in financial accounting, preferably within manufacturing or construction.
