Major Incident Management Lead – Sydney

About the role

The Major Incident Management Lead will head the Major Incident Management team for Infosys in Sydney, overseeing incident response across a multi‑supplier SIAM environment. You will ensure rapid service restoration, maintain communication discipline during critical outages, and drive continuous improvement of incident processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Major Incident Management team across all shifts, guaranteeing effective coverage, smooth handovers and balanced workloads.
• Execute the Major Incident process consistently, coordinating with internal and external suppliers to restore services swiftly.
• Maintain disciplined communication with stakeholders during high‑severity incidents.
• Drive supplier accountability, service resilience and continual improvement initiatives.
• Provide operational leadership and governance for incident management within a complex SIAM ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading major incident or IT service management teams.
• Strong understanding of SIAM and ITIL‑based incident processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and decision‑making skills under pressure.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and coordinate with diverse suppliers.
