Maintenance Technician – Well Services Equipment

About the role

Reporting to the Well Service Manager, you will maintain and prepare critical Well Services equipment for deployment from our Burton workshop. This permanent full‑time position is based in Wingfield, near Adelaide.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct servicing, testing and inspections according to schedules and manufacturer requirements.
• Identify defects and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
• Prepare equipment, tools and consumables for mobilisation and carry out pre‑deployment inspections.
• Receive, inspect, store and issue equipment, spare parts and consumables while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records, inspection reports and job cards in company systems.
• Ensure compliance with SGS procedures, industry standards and legislative requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments, toolbox meetings and hazard identification to promote a safe workplace.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Mechanical, Diesel Mechanical, Fitting & Turning, Heavy Vehicle, Plant Maintenance or related discipline.
• Class C Driver's Licence and High Risk Forklift Licence (LF).
• Senior First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Proven experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and use electronic maintenance systems.
