Maintenance Technician – Escalators

About the role

KONE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its high‑performing Escalator Service team in Adelaide. The role involves servicing and maintaining escalators across multiple projects, as well as supporting annual elevator checks throughout the region, with a focus on after‑hours work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance activities and repairs on escalators.
• Respond to breakdowns and critical incidents on escalators and elevators.
• Carry out all tasks in line with KONE health, quality and safety standards.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.

Required profile

• Registered electrical licence.
• Proven experience with escalator or elevator maintenance.
• Valid full Australian driver’s licence.
• Ability to manage critical breakdowns and competing priorities.
• Motivated self‑starter with a strong safety and quality focus.
