Maintenance Service Person

About the role

Join Northern Star's Mobile Maintenance team at the KCGM Superpit operation in Kalgoorlie. This full‑time position works on a 14‑day on / 14‑day off roster, providing essential mechanical support to keep ultra‑class mining equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Dispatch to carry out mechanical maintenance tasks safely, promptly, and professionally.
• Operate a service truck on‑site, performing basic servicing, refuelling and support duties.
• Identify machine defects and safety issues, reporting them for corrective action.
• Contribute feedback to continuously improve departmental systems and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a mobile maintenance environment on a mine site.
• Basic understanding of preventative maintenance processes.
• Experience with ultra‑class mining equipment.
• Competent computer skills, including use of integrated management systems (e.g., Pronto) and standard office applications.
• Possession of a Western Australian Construction White Card.
• Current C‑class and HR‑class Western Australian driver licences.
• Desirable: HRWL certification for forklift, elevated work platform (EWP) and working at heights.
