Maintenance Manager

About the role

Mantra Frangipani, a hotel in Broome, Western Australia, is looking for a Maintenance Manager. The role is essential to keeping the maintenance team and property facilities running smoothly, and involves leading the team, managing resources and prioritising preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee guest needs through a service-centred approach while carrying out scheduled maintenance
• Keep communication clear and efficient between the General Manager, guests and on-site contractors
• Report and track programmed maintenance and keep stakeholders engaged, including external contractors by email and telephone
• Work closely with all departments to resolve issues as they arise

Required profile

• A dynamic leader with a background in maintenance or engineering, within strata or MLR operations
• Strong administrative and computer skills, plus stakeholder management and negotiation
• Understanding of how to run a profitable operation and familiarity with WHS legislation compliance
• Willingness to carry out emergency maintenance outside normal hours, such as power outages, fire system evacuations and mechanical failures
